Hybrid

What's the project

This was a school project based around creating a hybrid game. This means that some parts of it have to be physical and some digital. This game is a VR game about exploring weird rooms, collecting items and reviving back your family from the dead. The whole game was build in an area of 6 x 8 meters. This made it so the player could walk anywhere and not bump into a wall.

The process

I mainly worked on level integration and the game flow. Where the player has to go and what they will encounter. I also fully worked on the VR elements and made those work in the game. Some interactables like doors and items you can pick up. I learned a lot about VR integration, technical aspects and managing a team as a designer.
